Investment Management Data Analyst

You will be part of a small but driven group of approximately 20 professionals, where you will perform the following tasks within the managed service team:

• Assist clients (banks, insurance companies, asset managers, hedge funds, and private equity) in using our technology.
• Together with the client, you will seek the best way of working. The gathered information should be shared with your team in a structured manner, and if necessary, write new requirements for the existing tools.
• Stay informed about new European legal requirements that impact our clients (risk-reporting, climate stress tests, etc.) and support our software developers in implementing these new requirements.
• Set up training sessions and write documentation regarding our software applications for clients.
• With a 'data-science mindset,' you can apply critical thinking to your analyses to identify inconsistencies and set up/send out actions and follow up internally where necessary.
• Test new software developments and formulate proposals for even better data analysis.
• For some of our clients, regular on-site visits are expected. Traveling abroad does not scare you.

As an analyst, you will have a lot of responsibility and eventually evolve into a "Subject Matter Expert." You will be central within RiskConcile (contact with developers, your fellow data scientists, and sales) and become one of the faces to the outside world.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in financial markets and up-to-date with financial news. Being an investor on the stock market is definitely a plus.
• Education: Business Engineering, Master of Applied Economic Sciences, Master of Statistics, or similar.
• A bit of Python knowledge is certainly a step in the right direction.
• Previous experience is always a plus: Big4 financial services (audit or consulting) or previous work experience at a bank/insurance company.
• Language: Dutch-speaking with a strong knowledge of English and some knowledge of French.
• Flexible: you can process new & complex information well.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility and can work independently.
• Attention to detail and precision.
